BUG: Group unable to start a random for magic
Admins, you think we might benefit by starting a 'bug' subforum somewhere to post these and 'is it still bugged' (esp for quests) after patch posts?
----------------- After the group losing a change to roll on a green due to the start roll not happening we got spawned on and forgot it. Then went on and ran into a named in Lyc and killed it getting a nice yellow plate helm...or so we thought. We could not start the roll. I didn't notice a message that said 'random already in progress' (paraphrased) that I have seen in the past. This (or some form) bug has existed since beta - but it is MUCH less prevalant than then so they have made advances. I am not sure what causes it - back in beta we used to assign ONE looter so we would not start mult rolls at same time but I think they solved that aspect of the bug - Ive noticed the "Next:..." section. -------------- Related bug: Setting the random for magical to anything but mundane or common (green) will make it NOT random for it. Also, setting it to green shows up in the gui as "mundane" - although, from what I see this is OK since it does not roll on mundanes so it must just be a UI issue (though, of course, still a bug)
