Yeah I would love to do that, it's actually something that I'm trying to get together. Unfortuanately I dont have a laptop so I've gotta figure out what sort of computer situation I'll be in. Later down the line, closer to Fan Faire, I'm gonna ask Elrar/SOE to hook me up with a computer to broadcast from. I really want to get some interviews and do some live broadcasts of the whole event

LOL Okay, I think you're calling Techno disco. We probably wont have much of that. Although, I can make no promises because I dont know yet what my computer situations will be when we get there. May have to buy an external hard drive and bring some good tracks on it

I went to a Fan Faire years ago for EQ1. It was driving distance from me and I had ppl in a guild going and RL friends. It was a good time but I said that I would never go to one again. I guess I just thought people dressing up like there favorite character was nuts. That and I stood in line to get a picture with Fiorna Vie(sp).

There was a big croud and that was for just EQ. Now the FF are for all the games so I'm not sure how massive the croud will be. I am definately going to this one because 1) It's in LV and will be crazy. 2) SoE flew me out to San Diego last month and that trip was free. So paying for LV seems more appealing. My father-in-law is a big gambler there and I'm going to try to swing a free room so that will help.

It will be interesting to see what goes on now adays at these get togethers. Sony staff are very nice. The players might be a little goofy. Expect to see some dressing up.

Did they fly you out to represent the EQ community at the SOE Community Summit?

Well my game is EQ2, although I played the original for at least 8 years. Yes, it was the Community Summit and there were like 30 players from all their titles. It was a great time and solidified my Fanboyness. Evidently, this was the first summit that they invited half positive people in the community and half negative.

I think that's pretty cool and I hope I am considered positive. I'm not sure anyone respresenting EQ2 was considered negative. Those were mostly from SWG I think. All-in-all everyone seemed nice and I'm glad I had the opportunity to go. I wish they could invite all their players at one time or another. I think people would think differently about the company if they were face to face with them. That, and Smedley buying cheap Tequila shots would win ppl over.

Yeah I listened to the various podcasts from the podcasters that went there and listened to the SOE podcast about it

I was quite impressed just listening to what happened

Who from The Matrix Online was there? Do you know what their avatar names were? Just wondering because I used to be a big time player of that game

Spheres still needs to discuss this one. Would definately help if we knew what they were going to do about FanGuards. A lot of VSoH people will probably stay back until they have a Sigil-sponsored event again.

Well I think, especially since they WILL have Vanguard there that people should show up to represent. This could be our chance to really impress them and show them that this community is strong!

I imagine more announcements will come with time and when it's closer to August we'll know more about who's gonna be there and what. Until then atleast we could get some maybe's on who's going
