System Message spam ?!

Theres a ot of this going on these days, and I do know the reason of this is to force the users of VG to get to know the diffirence between /Bug & /petetion

However, I am personaly greatly annoyed of being told over and over what GM's Cannot do, instead of telling ppl what they actually can do, and where to go if the problem dosent fall under GM's area of expertise.

Plz spam us with some "usefull" information from here on.

I doubt they will stop with the spam till they stop getting thousands of /petition for bugs that should be /bug every day. People wonder why GM's are slow to get to them and I'm sure this is the #1 reason. They also tell you what can be petitioned and if you need further help they tell you to go to the customer support forums. Would be nice if they could add a feature to ignore system msg's but then most of the offenders (the ones that cause all these sys msg's) wouldn't get them.

Well, it can sometimes be rather ambiguous as to what can or can't be petitioned. Once one of my bags dissapeared and I did a /petition about it. I think they mistook what I was asking, because I wanted a GM's help to replace the items, and they told me I needed to /bug it. ...

Very good points

However, I would still love to see some of the spam replaced with what GM's can help me with, so I dont have to browse all kinds of different sites to find an answer.

I think that they need to clarify and maybe even expand what GM's can do.

I've always thought that GM's should handle character/harassment/violation type problems whereas everything else goes into the 'bug' basket.

Is this incorrect?

From reading several posts, GM's don't seem to be able to do much.....

The spam that IS annoying is by players using shout to carry on conversations and talk about Chuck Norris and WoW

There's someone on my server that thought he was funny and named himself Nuck Chorris.
