So, how much are you playing?

I am fortunate enough at the moment to have a lot of spare time for playing. However, though I really *want* to play, I took a look at how much time I've spent on Vanguard lately and was saddened to discover how little it's actually been. Getting RL-aggro sucks. All in all, I've managed a couple of lengthy sessions here and there, but it only adds up to about 15 hours a week. Sheesh. At this rate I'm going to lose my Dedicated Gamer badge!

I'm not usually big on polls, but I did wonder how much time you all are managing to spend in Telon. Feel free to comment on whether you think you need an intervention, or whether we should lobby for 28-hour days so we can all play more.

RL has been particularly brutal on me since VG launched. I have two characters (on an Varking, which I abandoned due to deciding RP was more important than PVP, with 4 hours /played), and one on Floryndel with 2 hours played.

It's not from lack of wanting to, but I have to admit the account suspention mess has really started me questioning the integrity of this company. Hopefully we'll get more information and some good answers soon.

but I havn't played too much - I anxiously awaited the arrival of Vanguard, and now that it's here, I'm taking my sweet time with it, playing a couple hours a week at most. Let the bugs get out of the system so to say.

I play when I can, usually a couple of hours a night, more on weekends. If someone would pay my bills for me I'd sleep at my computer.

My playtime varies, sometimes I can play for a couple hours straight, but then I may not log in for a few days again. rl keeps butting in!

Oh well, I am having a good time so far and in no hurry to get tired of this game!

I play too much, usually in the 3 - 5 hour bracket. Of course, 2 - 3 of those hours is waiting for a group to form and dealing with bugs, but I guess I'm still technically playing.

6 hours on weekdays and till I'm tired on weekends

At least that's what I hope to be able to follow , luckily schedules are starting to become more...like a schedule...and weekends are no longer a fantasy (at least not as much as they were previously )

This is because of the following:

1) Demotivating bugs
2) Complete lack of good documentation
3) Lag (I share a DSL connection between 2 PC's -- if the upstairs one is running uTorrent it lags me badly for any web application)
4) College classes
5) Work
6) The fact that I bounce between games based on mood
7) Lack of interested, local players that are known to me
8) Lack of any in-game social life.

I guess as things work out I'll pick up more playtime.

ah, as expected from The Knight an excelent list .. and one that mirrors my own situation nearly exactly.

Actually I would add another one!.. but this maybe fall under point 6.

Its China (or Lunar) new year next week, also its valentines today, so most other games have in-game events going on which I very much want to be a part of...

Guildswars, Canthan new year, City of Heroes/Villains Valentines celebrations, Maple Story Valentines and New years celebrations, events and gifts...

With the current situation on VG any one of these games can so easily get me addicted once again.

I'm not playing as much as I'd like to at the moment. I try and get on everyday but the length of time I play can vary such a lot. One day I may be on for 5 hours and then miss the next day, the day after I may be playing for only 20 mins. I sometimes get fed up with all the crashes and don't bother to log back in after a crash, the corpse runs get a bit annoying after a while. I love to craft, but that has really been annoying as well the last week or so. Maybe if the game was more stable I'd be playing longer, but it's early days and I hope improvements will be just around the corner.
