about shamans
this seems to be a carry over from some other games is my assumption...
some group is using /shout saying they need a healer for such and such a place... naturally a shammie in the area pipes up... "hey, i'm here!" some group is using /shout saying they need a healer for such and such a place... naturally a shammie in the area pipes up... "hey, i'm here!" some group is using /shout saying they need a healer for such and such a place... i'm sure you get the the idea... shammies aren't just buff bots anymore peoples! shammies can do these wonderful things like... restore heal(i have like 5? 6? variations at level 14, including one that prevents attack for a short period) remedy raise armourclass increase casting speed and of course speed buff... partially tank(so we wont replace a warrior.. but we're not squishy!) have a pet from 15 on... which aides in a variety of ways some lovely dots... simply put, this class shines now, and (gonna get flamed for this) one of the more versatile healing classes out there.

Re: about shamans
I grouped with a shaman the other day...and I was actually surprised that they were decent at healing. It is quite different from other games, but I'm sure people will catch on soon.

Re: about shamans
Yes it is hard playing a shaman at times, alot of people don't realize you can heal. I've been through this in alot of games, but I just shrug it off and then go find a decent group
![]() If agroup is going to keep me out because they don't think I can heal, well...I would probably end up dying very quickly in that group anyway because of them making other stupid mistakes. I'd rather group with someone that knows enough about the game to know that shaman are healers also. |
