but i am getting tired of losing xp and items randomly...

not just from deaths

i harvest, log out after a while.. part of my harvest is gone.. or just the rare loot i get or some variation of this...

relog.. items still gone

work my arse off adventuring(i'm more of a crafter), maybe go back to halgarad.. sell a few things.. log... come back the next day exp and loot is gone

relog.. items and xp still gone

i craft (boy this one really gets me even more), grinding my way through horrid work orders... place some items on the market or adventure.. or just log..

hell i just log in and find my items randomly through my packs and missing.

or a bunch missing from the broker and....

guess what? you know it! and relogging doesn't help

i /camp only use /exit when i have too(stuck situations)

now i don't complain about the apperance changes, or the other little/big bugs..(yes i will complain about complications, if you don't you're not a real crafter! lol) but i am very tired of this.

gms have spammed the game and put it in the MoTD.. they will not help with such losses.. so it leaves a player no choice but to suck it up and go on. to me this isn't right, no matter how you put it.

if this is a bug, it's a major one and needs to be dealt with ASAP.

I agree.. and when something major hits like losing all items you lose ALL motivation to play.

Afte waiting a few days to get my problem sorted I logged and just found that I didnt want to play anymore

Whats the point?.. knowing in your mind that anything you do might soon be wasted!

I dont mind the bugs of group problems or loot problems or even when monsters disapear... I can even manage to live with the laggy, juttery feeling of the game... but I simply cannot handle losing items and progress.

More and more I read about people deciding to put this game down for at least 6 months... All my excitment and motivation for the game has been dashed

I will stubornly continue for the moment simply because i've paid for it.. but I cant see what they can do now to re-kindle that feeling.

I haven't noticed these problems, but i just see the xp bar at the bottom and i don't really take note when i log out, haven't noticed any items missing though. Not sure if some chunks are messed up or just how complex this system vanguard uses is. But you can be they are working on it, don't lose hope, and enjoy the game.

Hmmm...so far I haven't had any similar problems.

I don't log out per se, I just exit VG and go to desktop when I am done playing

On one occasion, I got a skill up in diplomacy and had to log off immediately (late leaving for work ). When I logged back in later it was gone. Since then I've used an old EQ1 trick before logging, which is to complete some action that forces the game to do a save...selling/buying with an npc, reading mail, etc. (in eq1 the most common way was to give an npc 1cp)...especially before logging after something important has happened. I havent lost a thing since then...so this might help. At least VG is new and they can fix it...EQ is going on 7 years and it still happens there.

I had a bag full of quest items disappear from the hotbar, only to appear on my face a little while later.

Currently, it seems items will randomly move to different slots (even slots they can be equipped in). I had a bag move from a bag slot onto my neck slot. It must've been quite awkward, not to mention uncomfortable, walking with a bag full of slate slabs around his neck. However now my Bracers have gone missing. I moved everything around, relogged, etc, they are just gone. They were yellow, too. My harvesting axe just dissapeared, too. I'm getting scared to do any quests that grant me items because they might just poof.

i've tried stripping everything out of my bags and putting them into the bank... logging repeated from desktop etc...

xp and items still gone
