what mods do you use

I've been a Drox UI user for some time now, and highly recommend it.

The other day I also downloaded Eveario's MapMod (which looks nice) as well as VanguardPoI; the latter seems to be a standalone applet and I'm not sure what it does -- or rather I am, but it doesn't have a discussion thread over at VG:I and I still have a few questions about it (like where it saves PoIs).

I really hate mod descriptions done by gurus for gurus, but it happens (most of all I really don't like people who forget that others don't necessarily know what they know, but it's an easy mistake to make, too). The PoI one is one of those, and I'll figure it out for myself over time.

The OP asked what mods we were using. I don't think it was supposed to devolve into an e-peen who has the best UI contest. There is no such thing, anyway, since people's tastes vary widely. At least we *have* options - it's against my religion to accept "default" anything without looking at what else might be available.
