You are doing nothing but what they allow you to do. The UI uses XML which is not a scripting language. Anything you see in a custom UI is data that is available in the default. Custom UIs just present the information in different and, certainly, much more efficient ways. |

Re: what mods do you use
You know... I'm going to take your word on that one!!
![]() @ Snowman - what Fyrestrom said. They're not doing anything or taking any information that isn't otherwise freely available. They're just changing the way stuff looks and, in many cases, making said information more easily visible (like, for instance, the quality and progress numerical counters in crafting).

Re: what mods do you use
I had the problem of the UI scrambling itself when the following was set in vgclient.ini:
Code:
LoadGameplayWindowsAtStartup = true Also /uisave <name> works for me. You DO NOT get confirmation that it does anything sadly. Using /uiload <name> also works for me. |

Re: what mods do you use
Another thing that used to bork people's settings was exiting the game by just quitting (either the button, or using /quit). If you're doing that, try logging out the slow way (again, button or /logout) and then quit from the char select screen. That should save stuff, hopefully.
It should work - and it's easier now that Drox added those layout 1-4 buttons, which means you don't even have to faff about with ui filenames if you don't want to.

Re: what mods do you use
I missed this thread hehe. I've always been big on modding the default UI. I like to make things like I want them.
I use 4 currently: DroxUI Nadgers Hud Pack Evea Blue Map pack Crafting Hud (<--this one is new) I really liked the EQ port mod out there, but it was missing the percentages on the crafting table and I just can't live without those. |

Re: what mods do you use
I was using the Default then saw screens of DroxUI so thought i'd give it a shot to see what it was like.
Really liking it , and its so customizable as well , you can change a lot of settings with it .
