Update download times
I bought a box and tried to install - installed the dvd software, got a subscription, went to the main site for updating, and saw my updating times go up, to 44 hours. What is going on? I realize this is release day and a lot of people are doing the same thing, but I hope they have enough servers and bandwidth to make this thing work. Did anyone else have trouble updating last night?

Re: Update download times
It was pretty much like that the first day of the open beta with everyone trying to download a ton of data. Once we got past that set of downloads, we didn't see any real problems.
There is always the question of whether it makes sense to install five or ten times as many download servers for the initial rush as will be needed for ongoing game play.

Re: Update download times
The time remaining indicator has long been known to be very inaccurate. Over time you see it fluctuate between normal and very long times. Hang in there, if you loaded the client from the DVD your patch time will not be too bad.
