my one complaint...

i'm female.. i love being female... so it really annoys me that my characters sound MALE! i don't know how it happened.. if it's a bug or ment to be that way or what... but it's very, very annoying to me atleast lol... i can mess with the visual aspects of my characters, but that's something i definately cannot fix myself!

lol that always sucks = / another game i played the Elfs sounded gender confused kids and looked like crossdressers in anything labled as "subligar" *shudder* so i know your pain... that sucks, maybe they will update it soon

The voices in general are a bit wonky

All the goblin males sound like they have laryngitis while being squished by bad audio compression.

While I'm tempted to turn voices off entirely, they still give a bit more immersion factor than if they didn't exist

I have my sound turned off for better FPS.. lol *cry*!!

You know, you can go into the VGClient.ini and turn on LowQualitySound=True for a similar performance boost

Much much better than turning it off entirely!

I mentioned that months ago -- and if memory serves, someone said "Oh that's how they're supposed to sound." Tough, buff and self-possessed, fine - baritone like a man's, no thanks. It's been bothering me for ages too and I really really hope there's going to be another pass on the voice sounds.

I'll add my halfling's endless little squeaky grunts here too. They're not bad, but they're a little frequent. Grunt when she swings. Grunt when she gets hit. Grunt when she blocks. Grunt when she parries... If I wanted that, I'd watch women's tennis.

that's how they're supposed to sound? now i know the game is made by a guy and not a woman in sight! lol...

seriously tho, it is off putting to me atleast and yeah i've already decided to play my character without sound if i can get away with it.. but i shouldn't have too!
