Spam Filter
I think Vanguard needs a spam filter for various channels, especially the /shout channel.
I do not like to turn off the /shout channel because I use it for people looking for groups, questions, warnings, and /shout to let people know when specific spawns are up and so on. I think it would be great if the developers could code in a spam filter that I could add people to the list to ignore their spam in various channels but yet be able to receive tells and hear them in /say, /group, /raid channels from these same people. What are your thoughts on this? Last edited by Korinth : 01-28-2007 at 01:37 AM. |

Re: Spam Filter
This could be conceivable. However, I'm bad and if I ignore the person it will be for a rather good reason. After that, I'd not really care to receive tells or any communication from said ignored person after that anyway.

The spam filter idea was just to filter out people who have done nothing wrong at all other than just simply talk too much in /shout or such channels. Hope that clears it up for you in case you are somewhat unsure of what I mean. |
