Technically, this isn't even launch time. Launch is on the 30th. Can't expect them NOT to patch in the last 3 days they have before the official launch.

I've got to ask, How many of you complaining have been involved in a game's going live? How many? I've been in several. P2P's and F2P's, and I have yet to see a game go smooth come launch day.

My experiance has been the first 3 months of any game just launched, is rollbacks, server drops, xp loss, weird issues poppin up, that just seem to happen to you, quests that just seem to hate you, but love everyone else, a loot spot that you find gets nerfed the same day you find it, and the famous "What the hell just happened??!!!!"

This is a great game. So much potential? Hell, it just shot potential thru the roof! Of course its gonna have its hiccups and burps. But its to be expected.

If you thought that a MMORPG on release day would have no problems,(I've edited what I was gonna say here for the past ten minutes), well, this is either your first launch, or you have life expectations that I could never match.

I think it has gone real well my machine is not up too the specks for this game so a lot of turn downs on grafics and sound and stuff but wow it has been smother than anyother start up i have seen way to go Sigal not too crazy about sony but it is where Sigal placed it so fine by me.

personally i've never played wow nor do i have any desire too.. the only other MMO's i have played was Underlight and EQ1 progression servers.. but i have also had years of enough gaming experiances in other games to know, that launches have murphy as their best friend and rarely go as planned..

there are things that can happen in a game that you just will not know about until after it's launched even with extensive beta testing.. people are very good at finding and breaking things and when you change a code to fix one thing.. usually it can affect other codes in ways you least expected (hence murphy and sullivan's laws). it will probably take months if not a year or more until most of the bugs that weren't found and some that were found in beta can be fixed without causing even worse problems.. this was a rushed launch and we all have to keep that in mind.

I was pleased yesterday with the game's performance. I just got off work & the servers are down, hopefully they'll be up soon. I expect a lot of downtime & problems, that's why I got Station Access, so I can mess around in EQII again while VG is unplayable. It seemed that the first few months of WoW, the servers were down half the time I wanted to play.

I'm sure there will be a lot of crybabies like the OP, why bother with the negative title. It appears the majority don't share your opinion.
