Error: Station account does not have a Vanguard subscription
Apparently, Vanguard is confused as to whether I have entered my pre-order key:
- When I check my station account from the launcher, "Vanguard: Saga of Heroes" is listed under "My Subscriptions." When I click the "View/Edit" button, it correctly shows that my key was from "pre-order retail" (the preorder box I purchased around Christmas). - However, when I click the Play button and reach the character creation screen, I get the message "Your station account does not currently have a Vanguard subscription." I have already sent an e-mail to customerservice@sigilgames.com. Any suggestions as to whom else to contact? Anyone else seeing this problem? Better yet, has anyone who did have this problem find a solution? |

This is a KNOWN problem. It is being looked into and we'll get information out as soon as we know!

I have a similar issue, except when I go to my account screen it says my status is exempt, and Nothing else. I go to the Consume key screen, and it is consumed. I did consume the key successfully when I first got it in the middle of jan.
I have 3 station accounts, 2 cant log in past the screen where you enter you user name and password. Which is right, cause they dont have any vanguard subs. But my main account, and the one I used for beta, logs in patches, and makes it to the char select screen. I did send Sigil Support an email. Also if you to the support page you can see this: Quote:

I finally figured out how to get Station support via chat. The fellow that answered told me basically that:
- Lots of people are having this problem. - The devs know about it and have created a fix. - The fix is NOT live, and they do not have an ETA on when we will see that fix. From scanning other, similar threads, it seems that "exempt" is normal, and probably just fine: the guess is that it means we are exempt from having our credit cards billed and having our "time remaining" from being used. Some folks in those other threads have speculated that this is mostly a problem for people who were in beta before they got and consumed their preorder key. Don't know whether that's true in general, but that is certainly my situation. And if it makes you feel any better, I've also been reading reports of most servers being either down or up and down--so it's not like the entire rest of the world is happily playing Vanguard while we're reading forums. So, what am I going to do? I've set myself a kitchen timer to go off every thirty minutes: I log in, check for the error message, then go off to do something semi-useful until it dings again. *starts handing around plates of hot, fresh cookies* |

Yep, I have the same issue... I called and talked to support, got the following...
