Character creation

I noticed in the vanguard developers walkthourgh there were many hairstyles they browsed through for Thestrian Humans. When playing beta the hairstyle options were very limited. Upon release will they add more character customization options?

I would say it's probably a definite yes, They would definately want to go all the way towards character creation, As it is one of the biggest things to a person when making a character.

I might be being stupidly optimistic (I choose to think it's endearing) but I believe there will be many additions of small but fun stuff - more char creation options being one of them. I suspect -- again for no good reason except optimism and perhaps a bit of past experience -- that Sigil kept a few things up their sleeve for launch and just-past launch. Wouldn't you?

Would be useful if we were able to edit our characters appearance at least untill the full range of options are in the game.

I beleive I heard they were adding more hairstyle options at launch (2 per race?) I could be mistaken though so please dont quote me.

I heard that the character configuration was legendary Massive possibilities.

You can edit your character after creation. You can edit just about every body fat to include breast size, lip size,chin size, ear size, height, cheeks, jaw, feet and so forth. (You cant edit the butt which is annoying though) They are constantly adding new hairstayles to the game right now though I do believe some races have all the ones they are going to get but some are not yet done. You can choose between styles of "under clothes" as well as their main and accent color.

not to burst bubbles, but I remember reading a post on the offiial beta forums where this question was answered. I cant remember the exact quote, but basically it was stated that:

Character customization will be enhanced after launch. We are currently trying to concentrate on bugs and broken content for live. We will try to get to some of the customization issues and maybe new content before we go live, but it is not the highest of priorities. Keep in mind it is a priority though, and we will definately be paying close attention to it in the near future.

Again, this is not the exact quote, but the impression I recieved from the original post. Sorry I cannot be more specific. I however, am confidant that even if customization is not touched before launch that it will not be too shortly after that we see BIG changes.
