Ok, I found that bit. However, even though it says that I have a subscription, I never signed up for one. Besides that, it still has not billed my for my online purchase of the game. That subscription must refer to the pre-order, as it is the only thing I have purchased.

Perhaps you can only begin your subscription after the servers open? That wouldn't make much sense, though...

Your subscription will start on the 30th. You are seeing that your account is flagged for early release. You will probably be prompted to set up a subscription on the 30th (for those who did the digital download). For those of us who will be getting a box, we will be prompted to set up a subscription when we enter our retail key on/after the 30th.

I'm having the same msg come up after I patched and try to log in. I see the VG sub in my station account. I consumed a key via a retail preorder box I got at fry's. Worst thing is it seems that I wont know If I will get in till the moment the servers go up... That would really stink to have to wait till monday to play.

To answer the big question on everyone's mind (well, my mind anyway!) - what's this 5mb we've all been waiting for? From the file list, it appears to be an update to the visual effects. Including files for each class, which I'm guessing are spell animation related (though I've not really paid much attention to what files do what).

So, it looks like we'll be getting an even prettier game!
