Forum Handle will not let me proceed

On the pre-release I went to consume my key and I used my station account to login then entered my forum handle and I could not proceed ,
says to input Sigil's forum handle but rejects it because another station user has it? which I don't understand because it ask for one thing and loks for another. If I put a bogus handle will it unable to flag my account when I play pre-release or enter lauch date?

Sounds strange... You could just register a new Sigil Forum account under a different email address. That's probably what I would do, though I'm surprised you're unable to use your own.

Well I entered A different forum hadle bogus one and it worked, it let me proceed . I am able log in with my station account we will see if it flags my account down when I transfer my char. I believe my sigil forum handle (original) was used when I entered my beta key which had a different account name than the station name i am using now. I wasn't about to set up another E-mail account to get a forum handle because the links it sent you to was the beta furums anyways which are now out of service.
The most i can loose is a 3 day old char

The "forum handle" it asks for is only for Sigil's Vanguard Beta Forums that are now closed.

I assume those same handles will be used for the Tech forums as well, once they are put in place.

Yeah, but they asked because they needed a specific handle to move into the closed to the public beta forums. Now that beta is closed you can create whatever name you wanted since it doesn't matter (aka use whatever in the key input thingy as you can create a handle in the forums now and it gives you the same access).
