having taken achaeology and anthropology, as well as ancient civ.. i can tell you homosexual behavior was acceptable in many cultures through the ages and long before the dark ages(greeks and romans come to mind right off the bat). some of the most famous ground breaking historical people were well known to be gay.. including leonardo davinici for one, kind edward (3rd or 2nd i think) was another. to say there was no such thing is a blanat disreguard for known history.
