Who's on who's side?
The only MMORPG I really played for any length of time was WoW. WoW had clear sides, Horde and Alliance. The races on each side where allies and that was it.
But how is this done on VG? Is it just every race belongs to any faction they well please to, or are there racial enemies, etc? I never really checked into this to be honest.

Ah...I see. Does this apply to PvE servers at all? And why is one team so rediculusly outnumbered? And what are these teams based on?

I dont see one side being outnumbered, if you look at the maps and starting locations, the sides are pretty much exactly even everywhere except kojin, and even there its not that badly balanced.

Sorry for another noob question, but I've read quite a bit and never really found an answer- On the PvP server (FFA, not team), are you allowed to group with anyone, including those on opposing "teams?" Are there rules about fighting in towns? Are there neutral guards (much like Booty Bay in WoW) who kill players that try to attack another player in or near town?
I'm just curious how the whole FFA PvP system works. I have a feeling the team based one is much like WoW, in which case, it's pretty basic and understandable. FFA PvP, on the other hand, hasn't been done a whole lot and leaves a lot of room for questions. Thanks, duff |

My understanding is that it is what it is... a free for all. It is up to the players to choose who to group with (no restrictions) and who to kill (free for all)! I'm not sure about the guard situation or penalties for combat in towns. That would be a nice addition, though.
