Hello all and prerelease help...please
Hi there....first post to these boards.

I'll dive right into my question. I preorder Vanguard in Canada at an electronics Boutique (Calgary) and they received 7 of 9 prerelease packages. I guess I must have been number 8 or 9 I guess cause I did not get one. Is there some other way to begin playing on January 26th?

you can digital download from sony store (of course your purchasing ), from what I have read and saw. This will also early access.
But I have a Question I have a pre-order key and orderd then limited edition. Can I swithch my char. from early acess to the limited Edtion?

You should be able to input the key from your collector's edition in the same way as all other keys once you receive it.

The pre-order box is the same for the Collectors Edition and the regular version (standard). With the download version I assume you get whatever version you paid for. So with either version (CE or "standard"), you get "early access" [you can start playing friday]. So you don't have to switch your game version in order to play.

That make sense? I think your confusing the early access with the 2 versions of the game, and the 3 different ways to acquire it.

Hm...not quite what I was looking for. See I already paid a portion to EB for my preordered game. If I order again...Ill have two copies I guess.

I don't know. I guess nothing can really be done. Have to wait til next week I guess.
