Houston I have a problem...
I`ve been desperately trying to order vangaurd from various shops since this morning and everytime I have the same answer "cannot Export to that region"
Can I use a EU version on a US server?

Err well as far as I know, the "version" shouldn't have any effect on your server choices. IE I could play on a EU server with my US version too if I chose. I'd just have the sleeping habits of some nocturnal beast, but.. ahh well.

I have a crappy adsl connection @ 15KB/sec,so downloading 20 gig will take lots of time

Were you in the Beta? If so I believe you only need to patch the client, ordering the digital download does not require you to actually download the product.

I'm in germany, and was worried about this as well. However, all of the MMO's that I've played were made so that you could choose your server EU or not. If you did play beta I've read what others have said here. You just jump in headstart and then put your code in when you aquire the headstart package!
