I was on until the last possible minute last night.. then it occured to me four minutes after the servers shut down.

No more Vanguard for four days.

I too have a hole i got the beta code downloaded everything and started to play the game on server 3 the game started loseing my tool bars and good not get any writing readable. Does anyone know if the servers are like beta or are they totally different? please say they are different

As far as what to do..

Make sure you tell your family you are alive and going to the alps for several weeks and won't be able to call.

Stock up on plenty of hotpockets, granola bars, snacks of the uncheesy fingers variety, drinks of choice.

Ensure all bills are paid, unexpected power/internet outages can spell disaster.

Get plenty of rest and set your alarm for 9:00AM PST on Friday

Oh and don't forget to call your boss and tell him that you are lost in the amazonian rain forest after being kidnapped by Ninjas.

You'll be able to use the beta client to play the released game. What you may want to do is take all the .ini files from C:\Program Files\Sony\Vanguard\bin and back them up to another folder. If you then repatch and login you'll have the default settings for the game and can start over modifying your interface as you like it.

NOO!!! i need to get my new compu quick!!! i wont be able to move in the starting city w/o it!!! i was actually having trouble playing beta, i couldent get into it knowing my chars would most likely never be played again lol

Personally I'm cleaning the house, getting the laundry done, stocking up on groceries, and getting some sleep. Can't wait until Friday

Me too!!! And I'm closing down my other game. LOL. I've put in for vacation days for Friday and Monday. I'm on EST so I have to wait until 1:00 pm.. but that gives me time to coordinate supplies for the 4 day game fest.
