Rogue Stealth

I've been watching alot of the Vanguard videos as of late, and I have noticed that rogue stealth looks like the player is spectral. I'm just wondering what everyone's feelings on that graphic are? I personally don't care for it I don't know how glowing blue is stealthy, even though you are transparent. If it isn't rogue stealth that I have been seeing please let me know. I can understand that Sigil wanted a different look for stealth than WoW but I thought WoW had a badarse graphic for stealthing just transparent not glowing blue.

I dislike it, and am heavily hoping that it will get replaced by a better less-glowy effect of the stealthy persuasion.

well atleast someone is with me, I hate it. Glowing blue is so far from stealthy it's rediculous.

i like it i dont find it that glowy, imo its just like eq2's (which i rly liked) but with blue rather than black, i suppose for pvp they will have to get rid of it, but for pve i dont see why your group shouldnt be able to see you.

The stealth that wow had your group could see you in your stealthy form how you saw yourself in Stealth I would prefer it that way, the glow is too bright for me.

I’m not bothered by it at all, but yeah it would be nice if it were somewhat more like the sheath in EQ2.

Maybe part of the reason why it gives a glow is that it can get quite dark in vanguard and a glow is needed to show your self to party members. (You might have seen the day/night video, if not then check it out on u-tube)

I prefer the graphics used for stealth in either WOW or EQ2, infact prefer EQ2 graphics for being in stealth maked it look almost alien vs Predatorish.

Its too vivid for me as well. Yet I wonder is it that way to make it easier to position mobs for tanks if the rogue needs position and stealth for certain combat moves? I also never much cared for not knowing where the stealther was in WoW as he/she went off to sap. Btw Im fairly color blind so ymmv 8)

I know it is a totally different game, but have any of you seen pics for BF 2142? The players can use a cloaking type device for steath. The effect they use for it is pretty cool, almost like the one used in the Predator. Wish I had a pic, but I can't seem to find one. It can be seen in many videos of the game.

I think its just to give the impression of being stealthed, you are stealthed to the mobs, not to the members on your group. Personally, i like it.
