As you might or might not already know: Sigil Games Online has given each of the affiliate sites one beta account to give away each month starting with the month of August. So far, the following sites have launched their beta contests:

I have tried to collect all contests until now and made a summary for all you guys/girls in need of a beta account.

I thought, I might as well share the knowledge with all of you. Please assist me and add the missing contests if you can, help the community.

The criteria for being entered in the beta slot portion of the contest is just that you refer one other person to Vanguard Spheres and that they post on our forums.

Does this mean I can't have my gf as a referal? Since she's on the same router which shares our internet connection (which would imply that we both have the same IP address)

We were given the beta account while our referral contest was running so we decided to integrate it into the existing contest instead of running two contests. The criteria for being entered in the beta slot portion of the contest is just that you refer one other person to Vanguard Spheres and that they post on our forums.

Just to make sure..

No you can refer your GF. We consider a number of different factors when determining people who are referring themselves.

There is currently no rule pertaining to that situation but Im inclined to say I would not count someone who had not posted to our forums at all. That defeats the spirit of the contest.

I feel somewhat insulted. Have made nearly 3000 constructive posts over the years, I am not impressed with those sites who will use a single post to get into Beta. I have bought my old guild into contact with Vanguard but will get into selection list by creating a dummy account pretending its a new member.

In my view Sigil have made a complete mess of Beta selection.
