The cool thing about saying "Winter 2006" is it is all up to interpretation. While winter legally does not start until December 21, are you going to tell me it does not feel like winter in late October or November in Minnesota?

The best guess is like 2nd half of 2006 or 1st half of 2k7.

Lets face it.. Winter is deliberatly vague. Sigil have no more idea of the release date than we do. reading between the lines there is still a lot to do especially the diplomacy sphere which I get the impression is the subject of a lot of the NDA busters complaints. Also the jury is still out on the Teleport question. I suspect there will be some rethinking on this subject. All in all a lot still to do. Winter in my opinion means "not spring, Summer or Fall".

I think generally your are on the right track. I think generally when a release date is given as a season or a quarter of a year, it is so that when they delay a release they can delay it by 3 or 4 months by just just moving it from winter to spring or 4th quarter to the 1st quarter first quarter of next year. That way the delay does not seem as long as them saying we are delaying it for 3 to 6 months. Thats just my opinion any ways.

But as it comes to this matter I really am not worry about a release date, as long as I can get the best quality game Sigil is capable of releasing when they do decide to release it. That will make me happy.
