i started out hoping for a mid summer release... but given the current beta phase, and that they epxect phase 3 to be the longest, and the possibility of phase 4.

... just put it on your chistmas list... if it comes out sooner, its a bonus

Same here. I originally thought July/August but its clear its going to be much later with Brad talking about the possibility of a phase 5.

They have to give the marketing weenies something to work with, or they will be hounded forever. It will happen when it happens, and that date is in all likelihood something of an educated guess based on best-case estimates - in other words, subject to, and almost certain to change when the date approaches.

it seems like they all have differnt dates i've asked in a few software stores and its always differnt even online everyone has a differnt date we will just have to wait till a offical date =(

Hy Zero.... There is one date we can rely on, that Vanguard will be in the shops by Christmas. That means we will be playing final beta in November at the latest

I would not bother taking the ebgames release date seriously at all.

The most likely release date would be sometimes in the 4th quarter of the year, I would also not be stunned if the release got delayed till early 2007.

I actually wouldnt mind seeing it delayed till 2007 myself.

There is no reason to delay Vanguard until 2007 unless there is a real deep and fundamental problem with the game. otherwise it is down to what feature set will be available at launch.
