I thought that was giving exp to absent players to stop them losing touch not boosting active ones. It might work but could then be considered an exploit.

Does that mean a guild could raise a crafters Adventuring levels without the crafter ever leaving the workshop? Seems a bit odd

Hrmm no as I understand it the fellowship was just for the adventuring sphere so I saw it as a solution to your hypothetical situation that one went all adventuring and another went all three spheres. If the 3 sphere person wanted to adventure with the all adventure person they'd just fellowship up and be on their way.

If I recall correctly, this is what the system does. Works both when you're online and offline.
