Damn not what I wanted to here , but on the subject of release date is there a estimate like which month it will be released?

Nothing about release. They are reserving the date until they are sure everything is going to be pretty solid!

Re: March Beta Newsletter legitimately leaked

It's Done When It's Done.™

What we know, anyways, is that Beta 3 might start sometime soon. It's expected to last two to three months, and then there's Beta 4, which should be pretty large and pretty short. (Is that like a fat gnome?)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't there been talk of lifting the NDA towards the end of the beta cycle? I think there has. Should be interesting to hear some more about the game from people who played it. And it's certainly going to be interesting (err, or whatever) to read all the bickering from disgruntled beta participants.

Re: March Beta Newsletter legitimately leaked

NDAs are commonly lifted at the end of the beta, right before release. I don't see why Sigil would do anything different than that.

Re: March Beta Newsletter legitimately leaked

My reasoning is that it'll help generate some "hype", which is always a good thing when a game as anticipated as V:SoH is coming out.

I'd rather monks used blunt weapon (1handed and 2handed) and some more little -exotic weapons as kukris or so, than swords or slashing weapons.

Agreed ! Exploration of huge and complex zones like big cities should come with a minimum of help to keep discovery/adventure feels safe.
This is just similar to real life when you land in an unfamiliar city and you have to search for somewhere to sleep, something to eat or a more specific place. You still can ask anything to players characters, but that's all.

Oooohhhh... Kukris are one of my favorite blade IRL would love to be able to have one, Deciples are looking cooler and cooler, may have to check one out, I would kind of like some info on how some of the other class types that are kind of unique are going, like the psion, will it really feel like it's own power or just funny magic? Anyway glad to see some info finally, and good info at that... My only problem is that as info is leaked about any one class, that class sudenly sounds like the coolest one to play

Crescent staff?
It's a spear?

I can't seem to find anything to call a "wind blade" so I'll just assume it's a sword or some sort. But one of those double swords like Serge and Zidane used would be cool.

Yeah, Serge's paddle blades were awesome And I liked the concept of Zidane's dual-wielded daggers combining into double-swords. Not sure if those are "wind blades," but it sounds kind of familiar.

Re: March Beta Newsletter legitimately leaked

I'm not sure of the wind blade, it has been call so in some games. There are other apellations like "double blade" or "double bladed sword" or things like this, if we are talking about the same weapon of course

here is a photo of what i am talking about :

Nice design for a Dark Elf DreadKnight, isn't it ?
