Hello all, name's Jaeth - and I'm a level 20 Student.

I've been reading about Vanguard for a while, and today I finally decided to involve myself in a community. I found a reference to your site on the IGN forums - of all places - and here I am.

I'm currently spending some of my spare time in World of Warcraft. I have a handful of characters, my main being a rogue. I'm in a casual raiding guild - we're working on Molten Core at the moment - but my interest in the game is declining.

This is partially because I'm playing on an American realm. See, I'm actually from Europe - Denmark to be exact - so I have to get up in the middle of the night to raid, haha, but it's also because, well, the game doesn't have a lot to offer anymore in my opinion.

So, while I won't quit right away, I'll most likely leave WoW when Vanguard comes out. (Now, I really hope there'll be European shards or something.)

Vanguard will be my third MMORPG - I have a level 20 Warrior/Monk in Guild Wars that I haven't played in ages.

Well, that's it for now - I'm looking forward to immersing myself in everything Vanguard and participating in discussions and whatever else happens here.

I haven't trolled the IGN boards at all, but it's great that there's another center of hype somewhere. The reference was well given too, so I'm glad you're here! It's a great mature community, and I'm sure you'll fit in naturally.

Welcome to the forums Jaeth. I'm pleased to hear that our name is starting to be heard on other forums!

WoW is where we are right now and its ok with our guild. Since we've been together for so long it doesnt really matter what the game provides since we provide most of the entertainment ourselves. We're currently working through BWL and have gotten up to Chromaggus. We run through MC in about 4 hours these days. Ahn'Qiraj gets worked from time to time but we're focusing on BWL for now to get a good grip on it before we push into AQ. Between the three zones it keeps us busy but Im personally looking forward to Naxx which will be an undead raiding zone.

Aye, patch 1.11 = Naxxramas patch + various other stuff. I'm losing interest in the game, though... Not sure if I'll ever see Naxxramas, let alone Blackwing Lair/Ahn'Qiraj.
