The End of Silkyvenom?

For the last week or so I have been unable to access http://www.silkyvenom.com It's say that it has been moved but there is no link available and I can't find it anywhere. I'm starting to wonder if maybe the site is simply gone. While I have been a big critic of their moderation or lack there of it was still a valuable asset to the community as a whole. It just seemed like one of those sites you just figured would always been around at least as long as Vanguard: Saga of Heroes was but it seems that times really have changed. You look at the past the year and what it means for the game and it's easy to see why sites like them are closing up shop despite John Smedley's big words of "we plan to support fansites in a big way."

Anyway if anyone knows anymore information about this or can confirm that Silkyvenom has indeed moved. A link would be nice if possible. despite not being updated in ages their wiki has proven to be one of the best available for the game and I have relied on it many a time and hope that it hasn't been lost to the internet.

I really don't know what else to say other than I wish the people involved with Silkyvenom the best for what ever they do going forward.

I dunno, but they were suppose to be part of the big "uberguild" family.

Still showing as being down to me. I dont see any of the admins on Instant Messenger either so cant ask them whats up.

I've made a post in the private fansite section or the forums asking, but haven't heard anything there, either. Dunno. Q might know, if I can get him on Skype.

ok...talked to Q and found this just now on the Vanguard site in response to my question from Merd at VGManor.com:

Q told me that he hasn't seen them, either. Uberguilds is now part of GamerDNA.com, where he is now working! (Grats, Q! That's awesome!!) He also mentioned to me that most of the Silky crew had seemed to lose interest after the SoE thing. Sound familiar?

Alright. It does answer a few questions at least. I'm just surprised it's gone. It seemed like it still got a decent amount of traffic far as vanguard fansites go. Yeah the Sony takeover was pretty bad for fansites. Sure they promised to support fansites but I just haven't seen it. Also changing the direction of the game again and again with each new lead dev doesn't help morale much either.

It most definitely is back up and running. I thought it was weird for it be down for so long especially when there wasn't any kind of warning or announcement on the site. Anyway it's glad to see it back because it we be sad to lose another fansite to nether of cyberspace.
