I've played since open beta for 4 months straight, then quit. I have a high-end machine, and found the performance a problem, but not enough for me to leave. What did it for me was server population. I was finiding it hard to group, in a game that's based on grouping, and soloing was very tedious and boring (I was even in a good guild). Overall, I think Vanguard is a gem of a game that was just mishandled. I want this game to suceed, and I'm considering re-subscribing after the server merge. It's good to see there's hope out there!

Xeth went Live yesterday evening with a couple thousand players logged in at once. It was truly a sight to see! Seradon went Live earlier today and experienced similar success. The remaining server merges are happening tomorrow, and before this time next week I'm sure we'll witness the first creation of a Guild Hall!
It is indeed, an exciting time for Vanguard players! |
