Spawning in the World

Since yesterday 04/03 around 6:00pm ish CST when I log into the world itself I am finding my characters about waist deep in the ground. Is easy to fix by jumping once and I am now on top of the ground as I should be.

I have logged in in Leth Nurae, in Tursh and boh places with seperate characters I find myself in this situation so I don't think it is a area issue.
Not a major but can really throw one for a loop.

Was just wondering if anyone else seeing this or is it possibly my machine?

Often when I log in or teleport I wind up stuck beneath the earth (more than waist deep). Normally, I just log out and log in again and things are fixed, but it seems like it's been happening more often lately. It happened once tonight after the patch I believe.

As bugs go, it's not a big deal, but if there's anything you can do to fix it, I'd appreciate it (and I assume I'm not the only one this happens to. . .)

That's interesting -- hubby and I seem to find ourselves usually logging in *above* the ground, which may or may not be causing us to log in at some near-death state. Almost every time I log in right now, I'm down to about 20% health for no visible reason.

There was a fix related to this on live last week (and therefore presumably test?) as I recall. Maybe it's overcompensating?

I think that the OP is being secretly hounded by an army of player hating moles who wait until logging off before attempting to bury the character. Just my weird Vicodin filled opinion.

I logged out of a wood-elf alt of mine, and was standing on a bridge way up in a tree, when I logged back in, I was waist deep in the bridge and as soon as I moved.....down i went, all the way to my death.

Try camping on top of a rock. It took me a while to figure out why I kept running into invisible walls when I logged back in. XD

Things I need to know when this happens to you:
Race/class
Chunk
Loc
Did you /camp or /exit
Were you in an alternate form? IE: Wolf, panther etc.
Were you on a mount?
Were you on flat terrain or on top of a mesh: IE: rock, bridge dock etc.
Were you levitating?

I'll start tracking this Asq, but I can tell you for now that I always /logout unmounted on flat ground in normal form. Someone suggested it might have to do with different types of clothing (logging out in crafting clothes for instance) but I've seen it recently on live with a char who doesn't craft.

Anyway, go go tracking pens.

Logged in today to this problem, Have taken a break recently so first time I have logged in for a bit. Had it happen twice today, tried the log out and back in with no change.

High Elf/Paladin
Leth Nurae Crafting Area, Right by the outdoor Forge (Leth Nurae -25,26)

I camped out when I last played, but after I got disconnected I also found myself in this position. I used /stuck to get myself out so you should be able to check log files for that.
No alternate form in use either time.
No Mount.
Logged out by the forge, in fact when I find myself in the world I have logged out sitting on a pathway or a raised portion in the city.
No levitation.

Most times this has happened I have been crafting and logged out in the crafting area. I did log out and back in a few times today and I went and sat on normal ground, when coming back into the world I was fine, standing on the ground.

I will test this next few times I log and check to see if sitting on flat ground as opposed to sitting on a pathway changes how I spawn in world on log in.
