Haha I know what you mean. I couldnt let myself get away with making less than three mains until I know the game more. Ive decided on Cleric, Blood Mage, and Ranja =D.

My buddy is going to be a Dreadknight, and he's eggin me on to be a blood mage to heal him. lol.

In WoW I was a priest, I just dont want to get stuck as a blood mage in end game raids forced to take +healing gear when my main focus is getting both damage and healing stuff for PvP.

Do we know anything about class itemization in end raids? like wow had teir 1-3?

If you liked the shadow priest mentality, blood mage is for you most definitely. A blood mage is required to do damage in order to heal, and the higher your damage, the more you heal. For instance, you have one spell that does x-y damage, and returns 130% of that damage to your tank, but its increased by 25% more return per blood point you have (you can have up to 5 and gain them by doing damage spells) and that just in the first few levels, you can see how conducive it will be at higher levels!

Remember a socr can also freeze and slow your mob down by 70% which makes it a great slow target and can help a tank with battle by slowing it down for hits.

A psi also has a very nice snare, I see psi types snaring/dotting and just running around raking in the xp.

I have played a sorc because i do alot of soloing in beta's . I found the they realy do not benifite the team unless you use them as a finisher only because they where mainly dmg , dmg , dmg. All other classes seem to have alot more to benifte the team ie.. buffs

I don't see how DPS doesn't benefit the group. Sure buffs are nice, but if you could rip threw 2x as many mobs in the same amount of time, I think buffs could be overlooked.

::edit:: Also the faster you drop a mob, the less dmg the tank takes, the less heals the healer has to cover, ... and it's bed time and I totally forgot where I was going with that.

During the final hours of beta I ( 15 cleric) was grouped with a sorc who was lvl 35 and we were aoeing all the players in game that were trying to kill the massive GMs that spawned outside khal. He pretty much wiped out everyone in a few rounds of aoe and was critting the GM as a single target for 3k-4k. Not too sure what he was doing but he was putting out some serious damage numbers. I would definately be tempted to play a sorc but I have spent the past 2 years playing a mage I want something different.
