Re: Sorcerer: a worthwhile class?
at lvl 30 i only saw 2 counter spells, a nullify one and a send back at the caster type one, also i think the damage has been slightly increased because it was hitting for a whole 600 on the lvl 37 6dot wyrm (thats good btw), so prolly over 1000 on reg mobs

Re: Sorcerer: a worthwhile class?
How about group utilities? What does the Sorcerer have other than massive damage to offer a group? Does the Sorc have a spell to mitigate the aggro generated by their insane damage?
I'm still up in the air, Psionicist, or Sorcerer. lol. Help me! |

Re: Sorcerer: a worthwhile class?
Im assuming that sorcerers are more group friendly, since they seem to need a tank around to keep them alive, but thats just conjecture. However, I know that psionists are amazing soloers and do have some good contributions to groups. If you are suave with a keyboard and want to be a powerhouse, go sorc, if you want to play it safer, but take longer to kill, go psi. Also, psi can mez, so its great for taking care of an add or two.

I appreciate the info. I guess if sorc doesn't work out I can re-roll. ![]() O how about group PvP, how do you think they'll do? Do sorcerers have any kind of escape, or survivability spell/ability? Last edited by Eyse Gage : 01-24-2007 at 06:41 PM. |

Re: Sorcerer: a worthwhile class?
Hmm, mez might help there, not sure how useful pvp mez will be. However I would say that if youre looking for an escape there, youed probably rather play a blood mage, a nice balance of dots and casting, and you can refill your health from theirs.
