Vanguard Fighters Fan Fiction Contest!

With the sekret-sauce drought in full swing, we have decided to feed the information starved masses with Fan Fiction! Vanguard Fighters is pleased to announce our second contest... The Vanguard Fighters Fan Fiction Contest. So get those creative juices flowing and start working on your story now!

The contest is for Vanguard-related fiction, either based on the game lore or set in Telon with characters of your own creation.

Contest Rules:
1. Submissions will be accepted until midnight (U.S. Central time zone) on December 15th, 2005.
2. All entries must be set in the world of Telon.
3. All entries must be appropriate for a gaming community frequented by minors. This is not the place for erotica or vulgarity.
4. There is no restriction on length.
5. Multiple submissions are allowed.
6. You must be the original author of the story submitted.

Prizes and Judging:
1. The winner of the contest will receive their choice of T-shirt or cap from Wyndsom's Emporium, the official Sigil online store.
2. The winner will be decided by our community members in a poll that will run from December 16th through 20th. In the event of a tie, The Drunken Dwarf will select the winner.

How to Enter:
1. Email your entry to thedrunkendwarf@vanguardfighters.com before the deadline.
2. Entries can be written in the body of the email or attached as a PDF or Word document. (Please have a clear subject line in the email, or emails with attachments may be deleted unread.)
3. Please state how you would like to be identified on the site with your story (John Doe, Hammer the Dwarf, Lady Aelfsong, etc...).

Miscellaneous:
1. All entries will be posted on Vanguard Fighters on December 16th. The voting poll will run from that time until midnight on December 20th. The winner will be announced on December 21st.
2. The winning entry will become a permanent part of the site under our Featured Articles section. All entries will be copied into the Roleplaying Forum at the completion of the contest unless the author specifically requests otherwise.
