Web Site Design - Need a Change?

Hey gang,

I am considering scrapping the html site and going with a content management system like most of the other fan sites use (Silky Venom, Vanguard Crafters, Vanguard Spheres, etc..).

I'm interested in hearing your thoughts.

I voted yes, as (having managed a busy site myself in the past that was flat HTML so I know what a pain it can be) anything that makes it easier on the administrator is a good thing

After playing around for several days with a content management system, I've decided that I prefer the straight HTML. It just makes more sense to this old dinosaur

I am not sure what CMS is, but I know for sure that the site looks outstanding in its present form. Shame on me for playing computer games so much and knowing next to zip about programing. I even got a copy of Frontpage 2003 testing Age of Empires III for Microsoft. However with college and work I have not even tried to make a webpage with it yet grrrrr.

i nicked a copy of Dreamweaver 6.1 from work, but haven't played with it yet either.

Content Management System - basically it makes it much easier to update the site, but you need to figure out how to use it first

If it makes it easier on the administrator then I'm all for it. I am not sure how much it will affect the members, but it can't be too bad.

Everything looks great so far. I dontr even know why i voted though cause really whatever makes it easiest on you. The current site/boards are pretty sweet so far, now ya just gotta convince the devs to release some more info so we can get it on here :lol:

I voted for the site to go from Vanguardfighters.com to Vanguarddreadknights.com so we can drop the fluff and become a site of REAL men.

Oh and if this site is expecting to carry heavy traffic ( which covering 4 classes im sure you will ) then you will definatly have to make a change for the better.
