Rakurr Shaman here and still trying to get conjuration maxed. Anyone found a decent way to level it up?

From my experience, I do not get skillups on resists so fighting mobs more than a couple of levels above my conjuration skill level is useless. I dropped back to level 7 to 10 mobs to start, then moved to 12 to 15 after I got it to 100 or so. Went to 140ish on those when it stopped moving at all. I moved up to level 17 to 20 mobs but progress has been painful.

I've spent 2 nights killing treants around CIS (sticking to the level 17 to 20 treants there) and got 17 skillups (151 to 168). During that time I let dogdog kill the mobs while I spammed hoarfrost. A lot of the fights I would be completely out of energy from nothing but Hoarfrost casts. I did collect a lot of timber to sell to the vender though:P

Seems a bit slow to me personally so I must be doing something wrong. At the rate mine is skilling up I will have to spend a level every 3 levels to remax conjuration.

Way late to this thread, but I found Conjuration to be a complete PITA to skill up on my 24 SHM. When I compiled a list of SHM bugs and issues to give to the dev team, I had listed under category 3 (Issue: Spells and Abilities That Could Work Better), item g:

Conjuration skill seems to level up mosre slowly than others. A player can cast Hoarfrost on every mob and only go up 4 or 5 points in a night of play time.
