I know you have this in the creators forum however as PvP issues are often involved and do not pertain to most of the Vanguard community I thought I might be good to also put this here. Should I be in error please feel free to delete this thread.

Is there anyway we can get a more specific PvP /bug format? Most of these bugs are baised on class rather than world stuff.

Issue: Pets remain un-targatable

Suspected Bug: Pets summoned by pet classes remain untargatable.
Balance issue: The exploitable nature of this bug can not be understated. Kills can be racked up with little threat to the pet summoner.

Issue: Dot's In PVP do NOT work

Suspected Bug: 80% of DOT's in PVP still DO NOT WORK. Everything appears like they are working except no damage is being done. Have tested it on my shaman and druid and confirmed it's NOT a display bug.
Balance issue: Classes that are DOT focused are now useless in PVP
Date observed: The last two weeks

Issue: Stealth doesn't work in PVP anymore

Suspected Bug: Even with maxed stealth skills a level 1 with no detection skill is still able to see through my stealth, and simply see's me in 'ghost' form.
Balance issue: It's broken, and completely useless in PVP now.

Issue: Targetting LAG in PVP
Server Name: Tharridon

Suspected Bug: When targetting someone in PVP there is noticable 'lag' as (i assume) we pull down the stats of our target, likes buffs, level, health etc...
Balance issue: Causes large PVP fights to be very laggy and frustrating

Issue: Mez/stuns/roots

Suspected Bug: There is currently no diminishing returns on these abilities causing PVP fight against classes with these abilities (and there's a lot of them) to be unfair and extremely frustrating. Not to mention they can be chain cast them, and they still have 100% duration in PVP - this is not right.
Balance issue: Unbalanced and extremely frustrating
Date observed: 18/03/07

Issue: Bards group invisibility
Server Name: Tharridon
Your character Name: Any
Your characters Level: 26
Suspected Bug: Bards are able to cast group invisibility almost constantly in PVP during combat.
Balance issue: If you don't have a bard in your group and you come across a group that does, you lose. Very unbalanced and frustrating.

Issue: Losing target on them going invisible
Server Name: Tharridon
Your character Name: Any
Your characters Level: 26
Suspected Bug: When fighting someone in PVP, if they go invisible you lose your target on them and they still go invisible to you for a couple of seconds - EVEN if you are able to SEE invisibility.
Balance issue: It's not working properly and is extremely annoying.

I don't believe this should be changed. And this coming from a Blood Mage who has no effective CC ability. CC is an important part of group PvP and it's working quite nicely right now.

Issue: Pets count as NPCs when fighting other players

Suspected Bug: When a pet is attacking another player they count as NPCs which mean they get the mitigation and chance to hit bonuses for being higher level than other players. A level 50 necromancer can kill a level 30 player with one hit from his pet since the pet will hit for over 10,000 in many circumstances. This will most likely be combined with the pet not being targettable bug and the necromancer being invisible via invis vs undead, to make for one pain in the rear encounter.
Balance issue: Unbalanced and extremely frustrating
Date observed: 20/03/07

Took part in a Mass PvP in Southwatch on Varking this evening. Even with See-Invis on, we was unable to see the Necro that used his pet against us.

Yes, CC is an important part but it should not be the only part of PvP. Being able to hold a player completely out of combat for an infinite time is not OK. Especially when there is no effective way how to dispel, remove or counter CC (the only way to defend is to kick your group mate from group and hit him yourself and reinvite which is pretty lame strategy).

Balance issue: Unbalanced and extremely frustrating (I have to agree with the poster above)

Suggestion: All mezzes in PvP should only last for a max. of 50% of their duration and have random checks to break. Moreover subsequent mezzes should be even shorter and with increasing chance to be resisted. A player could only be mezzed 3 times in 2 mins.

Issue: Roots

Suspected Bug: Not being able to turn around when rooted leaves you without a chance to fight back against an attack from behind.

Issue: Pets

Suspected Bug: Pets still cannot be targeted (as enemy target) when they attack someone else. You cannot run from them (they kept warping to me), hit for full damage, cannot be mezzed in any way and some abilities are not working against them (like DK's Shadow Step - Harrow). Pet users can control their pets without going out of invis which is extremely frustrating.
Date observed: 11/04/07
Suggestion: Make all pets in PvP to be max. a 3 dot mob, lower their damage significantly and allow them to be mezzed. In case their damage remains the same lower their speed and increase the damage they take in PvP. All pet users should come out of invis while giving orders to their pets.

Issue: PvP damage

Suspected Bug: PvP damage still seems to be too high - for all players. Combat should last longer.

Group members of the bard and the bard become invisibile every time the song starts anew (5s ?). Even for people who have a 'See invisibility' active. Ranged attacks don't prevent the target from becoming invisible again.
