Hello everyone! I have yet to decide if I'm going to play a tank or continue with my roguishness when Vangard comes out. I'm sure I will still play EQ1 until it ceases to exist (I could never leave my guild,) but I do intend on playing Vangard quite a bit.

Glad to have you here. And just follow your heart when deciding what to play in Vanguard. Unless of course it tells you to play a Rogue... then you should promptly say "Screw you Heart!" :wink:

In all seriousness... I don't have a clue what I will be playing myself, so it is good to know others are undecided as well. :mrgreen:

Heh, my first toon in any game I've played has always been a dwarf or a rogue or both if possible... or whatever class is closest to a rogue if it's not a fantasy game. Even back when I was playing tabletop games, yes I still have my pink velvet bag overflowing with a rainbow of dice.

Dwarf rogue was my first toon in EQ and I stuck with her.. though my favorite alt is an Erudite SK. EQ2 I made a halfling rogue first (cause dwarf women in EQ2 look AWFUL) but I never really got into her, ended up playing a wood elf pally to lvl 24 before I got bored with the game. I have a dwarf crafter and a dark elf rogue type in lineage2 but the toon I liked the most there was a human caster, that game also didn't hold my attention nearly like EQ does though.

I'm sure I will end up making a dwarf rogue first (cause dwarf women are cute in Vangard!) and then a dwarf paladin.. and then I dunno what. :lol: I'm sure I'll have a full screen of alts before I decide which I like the best.

I read a lot of Fangard sites every day.. (5-6 hours of raiding every night, lots of wait time to read the forums, lol
SilkyVenom seems to have the most info but I like this site the best, nice community.

Silky Venom is a great site. It's my favorite general info site for Vanguard and it's run by some really nice people.

I'm trying to keep this site specific to tanks, so a lot of the limited info that trickles out of Sigil doesn't fit in with our defensive fighter focus and doesn't get posted on our news page.

Ahhh... I am sure I have my bag o dice around here somewhere. Hehe, that is probably the best way to tell who the true hardcore table-toppers are: if they have a bag full of non matching dice, then you can assume there is a history in gaming. :wink:
