The Plane of Nightmare was one of my favs. I was just amazed that when I finally saw a Nightmare it was the size of a pony. Having a full size Nightmare for a War Horse would be very nice indeed.

I'd really love to see a well developed mounted combat engine in the game at some point. Especially one that isn't just sitting on your horse and fighting the same way you do unmounted.

I'd love to see special mounted attacks like charge and trample... along with some disadvantages to balance things out.

Given the devs have stated "we won't have mounted combat ready for release", I can't believe it would be something as technically simple as "it's just like normal combat only higher up"

I agree, especially given the thought and detail they’ve put into the current non-mounted combat; I think we’ve got a lot of cool stuff to look forward to in regards to this.
