Dark Elf. No other race is as sinister, contriving and cogent and they are perfect for an offensive caster/offensive fighter hybrid as the Dread Knight. Where they lack the 9ft height of some giant, they are wise, intelligent and dexterous. Brute strength doesn't help if you're too slow to hit your target

I am still in doubt. I was a dwarf Warrior in EQ1 but I'm leaning towards eigther Half-Giant or Vulmane now.
I got some time to decide till launch tho :P |

Im still in doubt- have a bit still left to decide.
I've played the NASTIEST race of all [Human] Barbarians for way to long. Time to try something new. Dark Elves are kool, but they will be FoTM im sure. Kurashasa would be kool so I could lick myself all over when I felt dirty. Vulmane would be kool too so i could BARK AT THE MOON. But most likely I'll end up playing an Orc or an Goblin playing with an dementia that he is a "HUMAN BARBARIAN" :twisted: |

I would have to say that , race-pending depending on racial abbilities. With everything else looking so good in the game I am excited to see the racial abbilities, and I am hoping that they come up with some truely unique skills. I am limited by class already (Dread Knight) but all the classes look cool. Goblin would be fun because there will be so few. Half giants will probably be one of the best due to size and str. However I have never made a Human, before, and I think that I may go with the Human Dread Knight. Lets face it, there truely is nothing more evil than man.

oooh money is root of all evil. Women require expensive things, expensive things require money. So there for by transitive property women require money. And sine women require what is evil, they are evil. So man is not truly evil, but the female side is.....saw it on a shirt, thought it was funny.

I will most likely be going with Vulmane. I played Iksar in EQ1 because it was new at the time, and with all the penalties no one wanted to play an Iksar SHD or WAR... due to the whole lack of plate thing. I never was much for the common races or the human / elven races.
In Vanguard, I wanted to skip the human / elven races too, which really only leaves me with Vulmane. I don't want to be a kitty-cat, and I don't think the Fox folk can be a Death Knight. That pretty much made my choice for me.
