That's good info. The guys over at Crimson Wind did a nice job collecting that during the demo session.
Just remember... as with all pre-release stuff that list is subject to change. It's great to get a peek at what's coming down the road, but don't get too attached to any particular race/class combo. |

I'll be interested to learn the lore allowing high elves to be necromancers. i'm assuming they're more intelligent than humans, leaving me little option

I actually compiled it into a spreadsheet, but don't have a place to upload it yet.
But I did notice a few things. Thestra seems to have the most holes. There are no Inquisitors, Monks, Disciples, or Psionicists on that continent. Qalia has every single class available to some race or another. Kojan apparently doesn't like divine magic because they lack any Paladins or Clerics. Rogues are the most common class. (big shocker; no really, they outnumber Warriors) And a few races get zero options in a particular category, such as Orcs/Half Giants getting NO arcane casters or Goblins/Raki being completely unable to Tank. Finally, no, Dark Elves cannot be rangers. Drizzt 2006 is a no go. Overall, it means that rarity among classes is definitely going to be region-based. I guess it makes sense, too. With all the undead in Thestra, it's no wonder there are so many races that can be Paladins. The only thing I dislike is not being able to be a spanish Inquisitor. Aw... limited to either Qalian, Mordebi, Gnome, or some type of Elf.

Yes, I think fans of immersion rejoiced to know that Dark Elves could not be Rangers.
I think the Devs, overall did an excellent job of being realistic with those race/class selections. Just by looking at it, you can tell why some of the race/class combos just wouldnt work for realism.... Kudos to Sigil for this one, and thnk goodness they released this early..I know a lot of people were worrying about it. |

Yeah, realy cool that they released this early. Allows for friends and guilds to choose combos from the same city and/or continent as soon as possible

where is a list of all the races at ( with pics? ) i've been wanting to see them all but i havn't had any success finding pics :-| .... ty in advance O.o

Seems quite odd to me that halflings can be tanks, but not raki.
Just me? Looks like I will actually be on Thestra upon release after all. -Eclipse

upon looking at the races and classes, i believe that i will play a beserker, I love taking damage and i love dealing it too. i think me and sigil's idea of a beserker are a perfect match for eachother.... i will do un-godly amounts of damage FEAR ME!!! and... more than likely die quite a few times in the process and TY for th link once again TDD
