I would suggest that you ignore strength completely, and just go for Dexterity as your primary and Constitution and Vitality as your secondary. Vitality plays a major role in our play that you wouldn’t comprehend until you are at very high levels and find out that energy does play a major role for paladins.

Some of the high consuming abilities "Marshalling Cry", "Cry of Solace", "Judgments", "Heals" and such.

Btw a paladin with high vitality can solo better than a paladin with low vitality.

that's why Im going to go off the beaten path a bit and go with high elf. I won't have to worry about energy at all.

Almost did that myself, but I decided on Thestran Human. Couldn't pass up the auras which compliment our class auras.
I have to laugh at this comment. They had a patch in the last week and a half that significantly increased the the use of strength in tanking classes. Using strength now is imperitive. I have 250+(with mostly str gear) str at level 24 unbuffed and tanking is amazingly easy. It allows for more DPS plus ability to Block and Parry. So, Con and Dex arent nearly as needed as before.

When VG first came out i would have went with you and said, "Yeah Con and Dex are important and Int/Wis/Vital would be second, and Str would be last." But since they fixed it, i believe if you dont have enough STR then you are a fool.

I as a 24 paladin can tank better then warriors and dreadknights at my level. i have also been told many times that i am the best tank people have grouped with.

Thus, if you are now reading this and are trying to create a paladin, i suggest you put points into strength if you havent already. Hope this helps some of you.

Hey guys!

One question about attributes from me as well.
I've been reading up on this a bit and have come to different conclusions based on different threads. Some say Dex is the way to go, then some again say STR (which was fixed, thats why I'm puzzled )

When I have to tank I'm having a 1H Longsword/shield equipped and when I solo and do PvP a Greatsword.

What would be a good PvP build + so I could still manage PvE?

My guess is STR/CON/...... emphasis in that order. Or am I wrong?
Aproximately how muchc points should I have in which attribute at lvl 22?

Tnx
