This ability returns a "no target selected" error. Its also in my reactions bar altho its no a finisher or counter. It can be clicked in the reactions bar but this error occurs. Dragging a copy to the hotbar and trying it there yields the same result.

This ability works on your defensive target as long as said target is getting attacked. IE:has agro

No it doesnt work on the defensive target. I always have one selected when grouped. It still returns the no target selected error. It doesnt work at all. I suggest you test first then comment.
I tested this for 4 hours when grouped. The entire time I had either the healer or main tank targetted. Nothing happened ever when I pushed it. Especially when the healer was being attacked. Other attacks like jeering kick work fine. This one doesnt at all. Again why is it in my racation bar when tis not a finisher or counter and placing it on my hotbar returns the same effect...none.

Erm. The devs are kind enough to communicate with us a lot here regarding Test and issues. Being short with them isn't going to enhance a relationship which so far has been both amicable and productive.

Thats all well and good but he assumed I didnt know what iwas talking about or if i had even tested it. Imsorry if i came off sounding harsh. Monk is my favorite class and I dont post bugs unless ive testd them throughly

I didn't assume anything. I would not be a very good tester if I worked off assumptions.

That said...I did test this. I spoke to the dev who made it and I assure you that it works. As I stated in my original post, your defensive target has to be getting attacked.

If you have the groups healer as your def target, then you are not meeting the requirements for this ability. Unless the Healer gains agro and is getting attacked.

I also stated that we will be adding more text to the ability to make this more clear in the future.

This ability is basically a rescue. That is why it is on the reaction bar and also functions independantly of that. IE: on a regular hot bar spot.
