Invis changes, and Sorc Buffs

I am enjoying my new buffs to my primary skills, and to spell awareness, but not the change to invis.

I understand the need to adjust invis to be disabled while in active combat, but there should be a way to cast the spell once your decide to turn tail and run. I can be chased for many meters by a mob, and through many of it's friends, and would prefer to be able to hit my invis once I have outpaced said mob, and can do so without it gaining too much ground.

While the mob still has his bead on me I should be able to hide myself from those around who are unaware of me. You should change the AI to make an aggro assistance check instead of just disabling a spell for the duration of combat, which if bugged can be a very long time(until you /exit).

Invisibility has been either undocumentedly adjusted to exclude Undead, or been bugged slightly to do so. Invisibility is Invisibility. Either you can cloud the eyes of those without the will to see past a simple illusion or you can't.

Sporadic mobs that can based on level, or class yes, but not entire races. Undead arn't the most bright to begin with.

As for the buffs, awesome, but I was fine without them, and they really seem more like Psi buffs. I'd rather have more power in my resist buffs, and to have them upped in energy cost yet group based.

Overall great. Liking the nukes as well.

If I may, I'd like to see an elemental based Chaos Volley style spell to level up in tandem with the existing chaos volley for those mobs with high arcane resistance. More diversity in spell selection.

(I made up some words, feel free to use them if you know which ones they are)

It was a bug that regular invis worked on undead, which made the "invis to undead" ability totally useless. Undead do not see through eyes as the living do, they use undead senses, so to speak, and can always feel the presence of the living, whom they are yearning to eat the brains of. Undead are SO dumb that they *should* be immune to all illusions, alas that is not akways the case in our world...

never actualy tried casting my clerics undead invis on someone else. Always thought it was self only. That shows how much I actually used my undead invis unless I was in greystone.

I've been fighting undead for the URT for two straight days - I've used it a great deal. I solo though, so I've never tried to cast it on someone else. If someone wants to be a guinea pig, I'll be online with Sophie after 1 PM PDT and will play until I pass out

no more testers no more bugs no more dev's dirty looks! (well - for my job... and only for this weekend... but still )

**Edit** Taggy sez: "Necros have invis to undead too" - just wanted to add that in.

Actually I was only considering the impact this has on PVP, but your right! runing away from mobs often has the effect of attracting other mobs so invis is quite handy.

But, I guess invisibility is a privilaged class skill, and not everyone has it.. so I suppose invis classes are now just simply 'In the same boat' as everyone else.

Suppose you will just have to be more carfull when soloing

The most annoying thing about this is that damn and blast curse it to hell 'stuck in combat' bug!!

Taggy told me how to get out of that one. I've had it a few times on Niaya and it irritates the beejeebus out of me

Find something, engage it and kill it. Count to 10 (normal speed - no zipping through it) and you should be able to sit and rest.

not the ideal solution - but it is a workaround

and better than camping and coming back
