Is there something I'm missing about uploading avatars?
To me, it looks like I can only put in the URL of where I want to get the avatar from...well, what if it has no URL? What if I want to upload an image from my own computer?
TDD, how do I do that? Trust me, it's an appropriate image, it just doesn't come from the internet.

If you are unable to get hold of a copy of Photoshop, may I suggest "The Gimp" (http://www.gimp.org/) - there is a Win32 fork here: http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/

Freeware, opensource image manipulation software of the same magnitude of Photoshop. I haven't actually tried it since I own Photoshop (older copies can be had for cheap, I find).
