Exploring is definately a plus - just going overland on horseback between 2 cities (i.e. offroad) I came across 8 or 9 ruins, caves, forts and shrines. If my brief offroad exploration is any indication, the world is PACKED with content
![]() My only trouble is I am getting used to seeing the night time world / inside of dungeons through the blue filter of Khajiit Night Vision, so I often miss how beautiful it can be... |

Well, changed to an Assassin and it's great (x6 bonus for melee sneak attack  ). Just finished the DB line, which was very well done. Now I'm trying to cure vampirism which is supremely annoying, both the condition and the quest to cure it.
Also, Lightning - how do you join the Blades? Is it associated with the MQ? I haven't yet begun that one. |

For the record, I have completed the main quest, arena, fighters / mages / assassins / thieves guild quest lines and right now I am wandering looking for quests, and working my way through the Daedric Shrines.
The only problem I have is that combat is getting a little dull. I'm wielding Goldbrand (26 damage + 30 fire damage katana) and pretty much 1 or 2 shotting everything thanks to my near 100 sneak skill :ninja: |

Pfft, turning the difficulty up doesn't make the AI any better at combat, it just gives them more hitpoints and makes them hit harder.
My strategy means I don't get hit, and I can *own* the AI in any one-on-one fight up to max difficulty (I reran the arena in max difficulty). I have beaten Umbra in a straight one-on-one fight with no heals at level 24 on max difficulty. "Noob" yourself. To make the game legitimately harder I have stopped using enchanted weapons. No more one shots, making life a lot harder... ...not that I've thrown away my Staff of Paralysis from the Mage's Guild  An assassin's best friend ;D |
