Dual Monitor Questions
anyone running two monitors on their PC?
I wanted to be able to play a fullscreen game on one monitor, but use the other one for instant messaging or browsing the web so I don't have to minimize the game or alt-tab anyone share some experiences? I'd just set it up and check it out, but I don't feel like bringing the beast of a monitor from the garage up if I don't like the setup |

Re: Dual Monitor Questions
My understanding was that a more than one monitor situation just caused the video sent to the screen(s) to be spread out between all available screen(s) not just one or the other.
??? how would your mouse know what screen to show up for work on?? |

Re: Dual Monitor Questions
I actually run 3 monitors off 2 video cards.
1 x 24" Acer Widescreen 2 x 19" Acer Standard oOo (like above) But anyway, it's great for having things open to look at while your playing, like Ventrillo, MSN, websites, etc... but the problem is, once you "click" not "move", your mouse on one of the outside screens, Vanguard minimises. It's definately worth it, but i don't think it's possible to use both at the same time without VG minimising. Also, VG always will display on your "Primary" marked monitor. |
