Black screen after changing continents

"Nearly" everytime I change continents the 2nd chunk I run into I will get a black screen. I can stay on one continent and swap chunks all day long but as soon as i go to another one, I may aswell log out & back in before I go anywhere. Any idead on this?

Before you run the game next, delete the "Caches" folder in your Vanguard\bin file.

Also, when you get the black screen, does /flush do anything for you?

willl try the deleting of cache.

No /flush doesnt work.

Its weird as in its not a total blackscreen. Everything from horizon down is black and the sky is all dark but you can see misty grey clouds. If you fall in the water at this stage you can see underwater fine but once you hit the surface its all black.

I get this dark blurry screen crossing chunks although not so predictably. usually reversing back over boundary and recrossing in different location sorts it other times it occures is on recall then relog or /stuck works.

Yeah, I get this occasionally as well -- it's as though it doesn't load all the stuff it should. As Greymain said, if you're near a chunk line, crossing it will often force it to reload correctly. I've only had one occasion where I had to relog twice to fix it.

usually happens to me when i port somewhere. have always had to relog to fix.
