Contant CTDs!

I've barely been able to play lately. I crash roughly once an hour. Tried different drivers, different .ini settings, reformatted the HD, few other things......nothing seems to have helped. Close to cancelling my subscription, but I'll wait it out a bit longer.

So a reformat and fresh installation didn't help? Did you try the full file scan as well (maybe a patch was fubared)?

You might just want to take out a stick of ram again as well...

after that reformat, I did a fresh install, let it update and when it was done, I did a full file scan. Could possibly be having ram/mobo problems AGAIN.........maybe it just wasn't meant to be.

Anyone try the new nvidia drivers that came out last week for the 8800 cards on xp? If so, and word?

i got same problem as u and i have 2 7800GTX in SLI mode, had drox ui as well and deleted it but didnt help.

anyway i turned off sound in the .ini file and i was able to start up game without any CTD

i had same problem with the crashes sometimes pc rebooted after i started game then i took the sound card out of my pc had an X-Fi extreme gamer deinstalled driver and enabled the onboard AC97 again since then not any single crashes anymore.
