Connection Problem

Hello,

My Server: Gelenia

I keep getting disconnect after like 3 - 4 mins of being online, also on the character select screen it says "Waiting on Data from Gelenia" and then the play button will highlight for 2 secounds and then go back to saying "Waiting on Data from Gelenia" it does this all the time.

Anyone else having this problem? was woundering if this is server side or a problem with my connection.

In all likelihood, it's a server going up and down. The only thing you might try is to delete your caches file under \\program files\sony\vanguard\bin before you run the game.

ok thanks i'll try that now it was also saying in-game that could not connect to social server and word server :confused:

EDIT: nope didnt seem to fix it! do you know if there are any router ports that maybe I could open?

EDIT: Just made a new character on another server and it works fine, I guess it is the server then, thanks for the help anyways

My friend and some other guys i know have the EXACT same problem. Some people on other forums also have this problem.
My friend can create chars on the pve server but not on the pvp server. Which kinda sucks cause PvE is for wussies.

Does anyone has any clue to solve this problem.

It appears to be an issue with the servers themselves right now. Nothing to do except wait.

Was this a temporary problem with your friends or? Does this mean I can only play RP atm

I just phoned with him and he said it was solved (for now)

ive noticed a connection issue after the last patch. My connection spikes like mad a few times, then settles down. I cashed earlier today as a result of the ping bouncing. still curious as to whats causing this.
